EYFS Teaching Assistant


Salary Range: £23,500-£23,893 pro-rata (Actual £19440)

   Term time only - 35 hours per week


Required for 1st September 2024


The Headteacher and Governors of Shiney Row Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate, committed and skilled Teaching Assistant to join our successful and dedicated staff team.


The role will be predominately based in EYFS but will contain other responsibilities.


The successful candidate will actively endorse and deliver the ethos of our school, ‘We inspire, we challenge, we care’, whilst investing in our core values: Respect, Responsibility, Collaboration, Perseverance and Success.


This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside dedicated staff, gain support from a highly effective leadership team and work with our amazing children.

  • An ability to support the aims and ethos of our school.
  • A passion for supporting young children in an Early Years setting. 
  • High expectations for all children.
  • A desire to develop and learn with and from other skilled and experienced staff.
  • Hold a Level 3, or equivalent, qualification.
  • Be able to support and engage children with SEND needs in their daily learning using a wide variety of resources and teaching tools.  
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) to a good standard.
  • A strong team player.
