The Playmaker Award

This award is offered to a group of our Year 6 children to provide them with the opportunity to gain a PlayMaker Award. This is a great introduction into leadership and takes place after school on a Friday.

During the sessions the children gain the skills to become a young leader, leading certain groups and will be given the opportunity to go onto the yard at lunchtimes to run activities with the younger children.

After the first term the children will be given the option to continue for another term to gain a higher qualification (ie bronze, silver and gold). To do this they must complete a number of leadership challenges and complete voluntary hours, which they may do with our Premier Sport coach, in After School Club or outside of school.
