Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby

On Friday 29^th March, we took two teams of year 5 and 6 children, to a tag rugby tournament at Kepier School. There were 10 other teams, from 6 primary schools at the event,  which made the competition extremely competitive. Both our teams worked extremely hard, on what was a very warm afternoon, playing some excellent rugby. When all matches had been played, one of our teams had finished the competition in 3^rd place, which is fantastic achievement as the team have only had a few practices to prepare. The attitude and discipline shown by our children was excellent and they were a real credit to our school. Well done!

The y5/6 Into Hockey team competed at Houghton Kepier festival and won, therefore securing a place in City finals. They then went on to play City Finals and won again, securing a place in Tyne & Wear finals on the 27^th March. This is a magnificent achievement for the team. Well done Shiney Row.

Year 4 rugby games played at Hetton School.

Congratulations to our Key Stage 2 Sports Abilty Team on being selected to represent Sunderland in the Tyne and Wear Finals in March 2019.

Year 3/4 Hockey Competition at Houghton Kepier School.

Children from across our School who attended the Go Run for Fun event at Silksworth Park. There were over 100 children participating from across the borough, in the 2K run. All of our children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
